ON OUR SOTHYS ORGANICS® LINE
REDUCE
Design differently from the outset to minimise the environmental impact of packaging.
Number of components. We are working on reducing the number of components for certain products.
Weight. Our Sothys specific design packaging has been redesigned with a lower plastic weight.
Volume. We favour lighter and more compact design packaging. We reduce the volume of our boxes and cartons.
Transport. We favour short circuits. Our POS displays are mainly manufactured in Europe.
REUSE
Reintroduce materials that have already had a life in the design of products, or give products a second life.
Recycled materials. We are integrating more and more recycled materials into our products.
Promotional articles. We develop promotional items from recycled materials whenever possible.
Refill. Our Crème 128 from the Secrets de Sothys® luxury range is available as a refill.
Active ingredients. Some of our active ingredients, developed through advanced research, are derived from environmental co-products, such as saffron flower in our youth face cream range.
RECYCLE
PLASTIC BANK®
Sothys has committed to an initiative to fight plastic pollution and poverty.
Each kilo of plastic used to produce the packaging for our Sothys Organics®, Evasion body and Hôtellerie ranges is offset by the harvest, at equivalent weight, of used plastic.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT ARE OUR KEY PRIORITIES
The science of results
Favour recyclable materials and make identification and sorting easier.
Paper and cardboard. More than 95% of the paper and cardboard we use comes from sustainably managed forests and is 100% recyclable.
Mono materials. We favour mono-material or separable packaging to make it easier to identify and sort.
Recyclable materials. We use PET for our bottles. (PET = fully recyclable transparent material resembling glass with all the advantages of plastic)
PVC. We removed all PVC a number of years ago.
Sothys is partner of Tenaka.
